About the Campaign

Mother Annie C. Jones is running for President of LIBAC and Mrs. Musu Raynes is running for Vice President. They are joined on the ticket by Mrs. Henryeatta Williams for General Secretary. Read each candidate's full profile on the Candidates page.
Election Day is Sunday, October 25, 2026. Mark your calendar and plan to vote — your participation matters.

Voting & Eligibility

LIBAC members in good standing who are 18 years or older and registered with the organization. If your dues are not current, you can update them via PayPal, Cash App ($LIBAC4), or Zelle (donate@libac.org) on the LIBAC page.
Submit the LIBAC membership application form linked on the LIBAC page. After that, complete your voter registration through the LIBAC registration portal — the link appears on the Voter Sign-Up page when you indicate you are not registered yet.
Yes. Fill out the Voter Sign-Up form and select "Not sure (please call me)." A campaign volunteer will reach out by phone to answer your questions one-on-one.
Polling location details will be shared closer to Election Day via our News & Updates section, the WhatsApp Community, and email. Make sure your contact info on file is current.

LIBAC Membership & Dues

Membership gives you voting rights, event access, and a direct voice in shaping the community's future. Watch the "Why Join LIBAC?" video on the LIBAC page for a personal message on why this matters.
Dues amounts are confirmed by your LIBAC coordinator. You can pay via PayPal (link on the LIBAC page), Cash App at $LIBAC4, or Zelle to donate@libac.org. Important — include "Dues or Membership Fee" with every payment so it's applied correctly.
The revised LIBAC Constitution PDF is available to view or download on the LIBAC page. We recommend every voting member read it.
LIBAC's treasurer typically reconciles dues within a few business days. If you don't see your status updated within a week, reach out via the Contact form or the WhatsApp Community.

Volunteering

Outreach, events, communications, finance, security, faith-based engagement, and more. There are eight focus areas on the Volunteer page — pick whatever fits your skills and schedule.
No. Every skill set is welcome. We'll match you to a role where you can contribute meaningfully without burning out.

Absolutely. Families, youth, and intergenerational teams are encouraged. Reach out so we can plan roles that work for everyone.

Donations

Even a small donation funds something tangible — from a printed flyer or sticker to a community meet-and-greet venue. The Donate page shows exactly what each tier (from $5 to $250+) supports.
Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal. All three options, with QR codes where applicable, are on the Donate page.
Campaign contributions to a community organization election are typically not tax-deductible. If you need specific guidance, please consult a tax professional.
Yes. Your name will never be displayed publicly. Donor information is kept private and used only by the campaign treasurer for record-keeping.

Pledge to Vote

A private commitment to vote on Sunday, October 25, 2026. After signing, you can download a personalized supporter card to share with friends and family.
NO. Your name and personal information will not be displayed on the website when you take the pledge. Pledges are private and shared only with the campaign team for internal coordination.
Your name, your city (if you provided one), and the Election Day date. It's a clean, shareable image you can post on social media or send to your group chats.

Privacy & Data

It goes only to the campaign team via secure, role-based email routing (info@, volunteers@, fundraising@, etc.). We never sell, share, or display your personal information publicly.
We may follow up with campaign updates or to confirm your registration. You can opt out of further messages at any time by replying to any email or contacting us via the Contact form.
It is reserved exclusively for Jones-Raynes voters and undecided LIBAC voters. The campaign team moderates the group to ensure it stays a respectful, focused space.

Campaign Merchandise

Four official items — a campaign T-shirt (white), polo shirts in yellow and white, and a campaign cap. View all of them on the Merch page.
Submit a request on the Merch page with your size and quantity. A campaign coordinator will confirm pricing, pickup location, and payment within 48 hours.
Most orders are local pickup in Charlotte. Shipping can be arranged for an additional fee — mention it in the order notes and the coordinator will quote it back to you.

Yes. Three volunteer coordinator phone numbers are listed on the Volunteer page for phone sign-ups and questions.
Send press requests through the Contact form and select "Press / Media" as your interest. The campaign communications lead will respond promptly.
